Introduction: Why You Might Need Multiple Telegram Accounts

Telegram is a globally popular instant messaging platform known for its security, speed, and robust features. In our increasingly complex digital lives, a single Telegram account might not be sufficient. Whether you want to separate work and personal communications, manage multiple community projects, or protect your privacy, learning how to use multiple Telegram accounts can significantly improve your efficiency and convenience. This up-to-date 2025 guide will walk you through the most popular and reliable methods to manage multiple Telegram identities.

Scenarios Where Using Multiple Telegram Accounts Makes Sense

Before diving into methods, let’s explore some practical use cases:

  • Work-Life Separation: Use one account for work and another for personal interactions to avoid mixing messages.
  • Community & Project Management: Admins or creators may need separate accounts for different groups, channels, or initiatives.
  • Privacy Protection: Use different accounts to maintain distinct identities and safeguard personal information.
  • Testing & Development: Developers might need multiple accounts to test bots or APIs.
  • Multi-role Usage: One account for general use, another for hobby channels, and another for family groups.

Main Methods to Use Multiple Telegram Accounts (Updated for 2025)

Telegram officially supports switching between multiple accounts within its native app.

Key Features:

  • As of 2025, most users can add up to 3 accounts within the official app.
  • All accounts can receive push notifications.
  • Only one account is active on the interface at any time.

Steps (Mobile Example):

  1. Open the Telegram app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. On iOS: tap your profile and select Add Account.
iOS Add Account Screen
iOS Add Account Screen
  1. On Android: tap the three-line menu > tap the arrow beside your username > + Add Account.
  2. Enter the phone number for the new account and complete SMS or call verification.
  3. You can now switch between accounts from the same menu.

Pros:

  • Official, secure, and stable.
  • Integrated into the main app.
  • All accounts receive notifications.

Cons:

  • Limited to 3 accounts (unless using third-party clients).
  • Not true multi-window: only one account is active at a time.

Method 2: Installing Multiple Telegram Clients (True Parallel Use)

You can run several Telegram clients simultaneously by installing both the official app and trusted third-party Telegram clients.

How it Works:

  • Install the official app.
  • Install third-party clients (e.g., Intent, Nekogram X, Plus Messenger, Graph Messenger).
Third-Party Client 1
Third-Party Client 1

  • Log into different accounts on each client.

Pros:

  • True multi-window and independent operation.
  • Some third-party apps offer extra features.

Cons:

  • Security risk: depends on developer trust.
  • May lack updates or experience bugs.
  • Choose only well-reviewed, widely-used, or open-source clients.

Method 3: Use App Cloning or Dual Apps (Mostly for Android)

Some phones or tools allow duplicating an app to log into different accounts simultaneously.

Methods:

  • System feature: Available on many Android brands like Xiaomi (MIUI), Huawei (EMUI), OPPO (ColorOS), vivo (Funtouch OS).
  • Third-party tools: Use apps like Parallel Space, Dual Space, etc.

Steps:

  1. Go to phone Settings > find Dual Apps or similar.
  2. Enable dual app for Telegram.
  3. A new icon will appear with a mark like "II".
  4. Open the clone app and log in with another account.

Pros:

  • Uses the official Telegram app.
  • Allows two simultaneous active accounts.

Cons:

  • Only for Android.
  • Most systems allow only one clone.
  • Notifications or background behavior may vary.
  • Third-party tools may carry privacy risks.

  3. Respect Telegram’s Terms — no spamming or abusive behavior.
  4. Configure notifications per account.
  5. Use distinct profile pictures and bios to differentiate roles.
  6. Review active sessions regularly and log out of unused devices.

Final Thoughts: Pick the Right Strategy for You

In 2025, using multiple Telegram accounts has become essential for many users. Based on your device, security needs, and how many accounts you manage, choose a method that fits best:

  • For top security and convenience: use in-app switching.
  • For real multi-tasking: try multiple clients.
  • For Android users with 2 accounts: use app cloning.

Best for: Quick access when you already know the name or ID.

1.1 Precise Search for Public Groups/Channels/Bots

Steps:

  1. Open Telegram → Click the search bar (magnifying glass icon).

  2. Type the full ID or English keyword:

    • Format: @targetID (e.g., @tingtalk).
    • Note: Chinese keywords (like "庭说") may not work well; use English or pinyin when possible.
  3. Click on the desired result → Read the description → Click "Join" to enter.

Warning: Many scam groups mimic popular ones by altering characters (e.g., replacing "i" or "l" with "1"). Double-check the target ID.

1.2 Fuzzy Search Tips

  • Filter types: After typing a keyword, tap the filter tags at the top:

    • Groups: For groups
    • Channels: For channels
    • Bots: For bots
  • Example: Search "anime" → Tap Channels tab → View related channels.

Best for: Broader discovery including non-public resources

Steps:

  1. Go to Google → Use format: keyword site:t.me or keyword site:telegram.me

  2. Combine logic:

    • Use OR for synonyms (e.g., 海贼王 OR "one piece" site:t.me).
    • Use quotes for exact phrases (e.g., "machine learning" site:t.me).
  3. From the results, look for t.me/ links → Copy and open them in Telegram.

Steps:

  1. Type keyword + telegram OR 电报 OR TG (e.g., Rick and Morty telegram).

  2. Prioritize forum/blog-style results (e.g., Reddit, Medium).

    • Look at post date (prefer recent 6-month results).
    • See if commenters report broken links.

3. Use Third-Party Directory Websites

Recommended for: More organized search experiences

3.1 Group Directory Sites

Steps:

  1. Visit (VPN may be needed):

  2. Enter keywords → Filter by country/language → Copy invite link to join.

How to Set Up Automatic Replies for Telegram Bots?

· 3 min read
Aston
All maintainers of All In One TG

Step 1: Create a Bot via BotFather

  1. Search for @BotFather on Telegram (make sure it has the blue verified badge).
  2. Send the command /newbot, then follow the prompts to enter a name (e.g., MyAutoReplyBot) and a username (must end with bot, e.g., myautoreply_bot).
  3. Save the generated API Token (e.g., 123456789:ABCdefGHIJKL) — you'll need it later.

2. Technical Self-Hosted Solution: Programming Auto Replies

Method 1: Write Auto Reply Script in Python

Step 1: Environment Setup

Install Python 3.8+ and required libraries:

pip install python-telegram-bot

Step 2: Write Core Code

from telegram.ext import Updater, MessageHandler, Filters

def auto_reply(update, context):
message = update.message.text
reply_text = f"Received your message: {message}"
context.bot.send_message(chat_id=update.effective_chat.id, text=reply_text)

def main():
updater = Updater("YOUR_API_TOKEN") # Replace with your API Token
dispatcher = updater.dispatcher
dispatcher.add_handler(MessageHandler(Filters.text, auto_reply))
updater.start_polling()
updater.idle()

if __name__ == '__main__':
main()

Step 3: Deploy and Run

  • Run locally: Execute with python bot.py
  • Deploy on a server: Use systemd or Docker for background running (see Docker example)

Feature Extensions

  • Keyword triggers: Match specific words like "help" and return predefined responses
  • Multimedia support: Use send_photo() or send_document() to send images/files

Method 2: Integrate with Crisp (Requires Coding)

Step 1: Register on Crisp and Get Credentials

  1. Sign up on Crisp → Save your Website ID (e.g., 12345678-1234-1234-1234-1234567890ab)
  2. Create a plugin in the Crisp Marketplace → Get your Plugin ID and Secret

Step 2: Configure the Telegram Bot

  1. Clone the GitHub repo and install dependencies:
git clone https://github.com/DyAxy/Crisp_Telegram_Bot.git
pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Edit the config.yml file and fill in the Telegram API Token and Crisp credentials.

Step 3: Deploy the Service

  • Use systemd or Docker to run it as a background service.

3. No-Code Solutions: Use Third-Party Platforms

Option 1: SaleSmartly Integration

  1. Link your Telegram account:
    • Log in to SaleSmartly → Go to "Bot" → "Automation Flow" → Select Telegram as a channel
  2. Set up auto-reply rules:
    • Define a trigger (e.g., "New message received") → Set the reply content (text, image, button)

Option 2: Midouke Integration

  1. Connect the bot:
    • Log in to Midouke → "Settings Center" → "Channel Access" → Enter your Telegram API Token
  2. Feature setup:
    • Supports keyword-based replies, bulk messaging, and user data management

Option 3: Respond.io Workflow Automation

  1. Build an auto-reply flow:
    • Log in to Respond.io → "Automation Builder" → Choose "Conversation Opened" as the trigger
    • Configure replies based on business hours (e.g., welcome message, away message)
  2. Advanced features:
    • Use pre-chat surveys to collect user info → Auto-assign support agents accordingly

4. Notes and Optimization Tips

  1. Testing:
    • Send a test message after deployment to confirm the bot's response logic
  2. Permission Management:
    • Use @BotFather's /setprivacy to configure privacy mode and avoid reading group messages if not needed
  3. Performance Optimization:
    • For high traffic bots, consider using Webhooks instead of polling (updater.start_webhook())
  4. Compliance:
    • Avoid spammy behavior to prevent account bans

5. Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: The bot doesn’t respond to messages?

  • Check if your API Token is correct, and make sure the server can reach Telegram API servers.

Q2: How to support multiple languages in replies?

  • Use language recognition features on third-party platforms like SaleSmartly, or implement logic to detect and reply in the user’s language.

Q3: Can the bot send images or documents?

  • Yes. Use context.bot.send_photo() in Python, or upload media via third-party platform interfaces.

How to Stop Telegram from Leaking Your Privacy? Follow This Guide

Aston
All maintainers of All In One TG

Some basic steps to protect your privacy and phone number include:

  1. Only share your phone number with trusted people or organizations: Avoid posting your number online unless absolutely necessary.

  2. Use two-step verification: Enable two-step verification for important accounts (e.g. email, social media, bank accounts) to add an extra layer of security.

  3. Beware of phone phishing: Do not share personal information with unknown callers. If someone claims to represent an organization, hang up and call the official number directly to verify.

  4. Set privacy controls on social media: Make sure you understand and use the privacy settings on all your social media platforms to limit who can view your personal information.

  5. Use a virtual phone number: Services like Google Voice offer virtual numbers that can provide an extra layer of protection.

In Telegram, you can also take the following steps to protect your phone number:

  1. Open Telegram and tap the menu button in the top-left corner.

  2. Select "Settings", then choose "Privacy and Security".

  3. Under the "Privacy" section, tap "Phone Number".

  4. Here, you can control who can find you by your phone number and who can see it. Options include "Everybody", "My Contacts", or "Nobody".

Note: These steps may vary slightly depending on your Telegram version and device.

What if your privacy has already been compromised? For example, a contact's number appears in a chat.

Telegram uses your phone's contact list to help identify people you may know, making it easier to connect with friends and family. If you see your friend’s phone number on Telegram, but it’s not actually them, it could mean their number is being used by someone else.

Here are some possible scenarios and recommendations:

  1. Phone number reused: If your friend’s phone number was deactivated and reassigned to another user, the new owner may have created a Telegram account using it. In this case, there’s not much you can do except confirm that it’s not your friend.

  2. Malicious use: If you suspect the account was created with bad intent, you can report the account to Telegram.

  3. Misunderstanding: It could also be a system error or a misunderstanding of Telegram’s interface.

Regardless of the case, the best thing to do is ask your friend directly whether they have a Telegram account. If they don’t, you can report the issue to Telegram to help protect their privacy.

Remember: Telegram’s privacy settings let you control who can see your phone number. Make sure to review and adjust these settings to your comfort level.

6 Privacy Settings You Must Configure Before Using Telegram

· 2 min read
Aston
All maintainers of All In One TG

Privacy Settings and Steps

By default, Telegram does not set a username. You can go to Settings > Edit Profile > @ to create one. Usernames must be unique. Once you've set your username (e.g., @xxx), your friends can find and add you via that handle.

Here are several key privacy settings you should configure:

Hide Your Phone Number:

Telegram allows your phone number to be visible to strangers by default. If unnecessary, make sure to hide it.

Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Phone Number, and set the visibility to My Contacts or Nobody.

Online Status:

  • Set Last Seen & Online to Nobody under Who can see my last seen time.

  • Add exceptions only if necessary.

Profile Photo:

  • Set Who can see my profile photo to My Contacts.

  • Add exceptions only if needed.

Forwarded Messages:

  • Under Who can add a link to my account when forwarding my messages, set it to My Contacts.

  • Add exceptions only if required.

Calls:

  • Set Who can call me to My Contacts (or Nobody if you prefer).

  • Add exceptions only if needed.

Groups and Channels:

  • Set Who can add me to groups and channels to My Contacts.

  • Again, add exceptions only when necessary.

2025 Guide: What to Do If You Can’t Receive Telegram SMS Verification Code

· 3 min read
Aston
All maintainers of All In One TG
  1. You must use the official mobile Telegram app for first-time registration.

Using the desktop version (PC) or third-party clients (like modified apps) won’t receive the SMS code, and registration cannot be completed. To register, you must use the official Telegram app on your phone.

  1. When logging in, the code is usually sent to a device that is already logged in.

For example, if you’ve already logged into Telegram on your phone, and you try to log in from your computer or another device, the verification code will be sent to the logged-in device, not via SMS. You can manually request “Send SMS code” on the login screen. If you're switching devices or reinstalling, it’s a good idea to remove the old device from your Telegram settings first.

  1. Many people claim they “didn’t receive a code,” but often it wasn’t even sent.

Sometimes it’s just due to poor network, timeout, or still being stuck on the phone number input screen. Check the on-screen prompts carefully—it may not be Telegram’s fault.

  1. Telegram tells you where the code is sent—SMS or another device.

Look at the interface: it will clearly say if the code is sent via SMS or to another logged-in device. Always read the on-screen instructions.

  1. +86 numbers (China) and Google Voice can receive SMS verification codes.

However, there are cases where some people can’t receive them. There’s no clear explanation—sometimes it’s just Telegram’s sending system acting up. Telegram uses third-party platforms to send SMS (not directly via Telegram), and the message might not mention “Telegram” at all. It could be something like “ecloud.”

Example: 【ecloud】Your login code is 39335. Please complete verification within 300 seconds.

  1. Try logging in via the web version.

Alternatively, try logging in through the Telegram web app, or download Telegram X (an official alternative client), log in through it first, then switch to the main Telegram app. This sometimes resolves the issue.

  1. Since 2024, new registrations also require email binding.

Note: The email binding process still requires successful SMS verification first—only then is the email officially linked.

  1. Final truth: Not receiving the SMS code is sometimes just... unexplainable.

Some people get it, some don’t. It might be Telegram’s fault. There’s no fixed pattern or rule. As of now, there is no completely reliable solution.

Be cautious of people online who offer to “receive the code for you”—they might be trying to scam you or steal your account.

If you’re trying to register a new account, you can use SMS receiving platforms (https://grizzlysms.com/cn and https://sms-activate.world/cn) to test multiple numbers. If you don’t receive a code, you won’t be charged. Tested and works.
